F1 is an overflow code. Pull the plug, shut the tap, call service.
Model compatibility: Bertazzoni reuses codes across series and model years, so F1 / F01 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
F1 reports overflow; pull the plug, shut the tap and call service.
Overflow on the F-code display
Dishwashers that use the F-code fault list show F1, printed F01 in places, for overflow. Bertazzoni’s remedy has three parts, in this sequence: pull the plug, shut the water tap, then call for service.
Where the table stops
No cause for the overflow is printed, and no repair the owner can do. Other Bertazzoni manuals carry an E4 entry with more about leaks, yet that applies to different models and is not borrowed here.
Safety around the water
Water and mains power do not mix, so wait to reach inside until the plug has been pulled.
Jot these down before calling

Where water is visible: on the floor, or just in the tub
Whether the tap is now shut tight
F1 compared with E4
Overflow is the word in both entries. They belong to separate manual families, though: E4 to the DW18PR, DW24PR and DW24XV, F1 to the DW18S2, DW24S3, DW24T2 and DW24T3. Nothing from Bertazzoni says one is a second name for the other.
Whether to reopen the tap afterwards is not addressed in the manual, so hold off until service has inspected the dishwasher.

Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
